ABD Engineers & Surveyors, LLP is a local Civil Engineering and Land Surveying company that
was established in 1987 – we are looking for an energetic, conscientious and detail-oriented
individual who enjoys making a difference, being part of a team and takes pride in their work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Field Surveyor
- Experience with Robotic instruments
- Experience with GPS equipment
- Experience with all aspects of field surveying
- The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent, required
- Willingness to learn, positive attitude, dependable, and reliable
- Solid math skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outside in a wide variety of weather and terrain conditions
- Ability to regularly lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/ or move up to 50
pounds and occasionally lift and/ or move up to 100 pounds - Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in difficult and stressful situations.
- Must accept empowerment to be accountable; must be willing to be coached and be
moldable and teachable. - Possess the ability to work well with people and to create a self-motivating work
environment. Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
and maintaining them over time. - Demonstrate strong organizational skills, high level of accuracy, and the ability to multi-
task in a fast-paced environment while able to give attention to details. - Demonstrates a positive customer service focus.
- Ability to accurately read various measuring devices.
- Ability to understand the use of and operate all department owned survey equipment.
- Ability to safely operate equipment such as chainsaws, machetes, and other tools.
- Ability to write in clear penmanship.
- Ability to read plans.
